I would describe myself very much as an amateur underwater photographer, where my hobby has grown into a passion for underwater photography which has taken me diving around the world in addition to Dutch Zealand. I learnt to dive in my native Scotland, and have now lived in the Netherlands for 25 years. I became more serious about my underwater photography in 2007 under the excellent guidance of M.E.S. when I was introduced to Seacam housings and various light accessories at the Duikvaker.
What I value about M.E.S. is that the excellent service and advice doesn’t stop with your initial purchase! The after care is superb ensuring many carefree years of continuos and reliable use of your underwater photographic equipment. M.E.S. are highly experienced and known how to judge the varying needs and requirements of a wide range of clients from hobby amateurs such as myself to top-level professionals.
About my photos
My favorite kind of photography is wide angle, and to play with creative lighting techniques such as inward lighting, back lighting and multiple exposures. Here is a small selection made with my Nikon D7000 in a Seacam housing and dome ports.
